📑Background

Nile is an e-commerce app focusing on secure delivery while fostering community building with local business. When we started, our mission was simple: put an end to porch piracy across North America, while supporting local businesses in an increasingly e-commerce centric world. Today, we are building the medium that connects the online shopping sphere with the brick-and-mortar one. We pick up where e-commerce leaves off and help plug the gaps: whether in package theft, reverse logistics, or BOTI (Buy Online, Try In-person)

🧰Low-Fi Prototype

We started with creating a low-fi prototype for the website. Since the app has two types of audience—individuals and merchants, it was best to have two separate pages for the two types. Eventually, we decided on a 4-page layout which includes a home page, a page for individual clients, a page for merchants, and an about page.

✨Project Highlights

✏️Takeaways

I was able to explore how to create a website for a specific product in this project. Because it is a marketing website, some of the most important features include clearly conveying what the product does, highlighting product benefits, and showcasing product workflow. This project is still ongoing, check back later!
